IV. Additional Information About the Oban Kiyoshi Tour Limited Golf Shaft:
This golf shaft is unique in its feel compared to the other Oban Kiyoshi shafts in the sense that it has a slightly higher (stiffer) modulus graphite compared to the rest of the Kiyoshi line, and also has a reinforced handle section that will give you a strong sense of the shaft throughout the swing. With its moderately active tip section the shaft is great for those who need a little extra spin on their shots or are playing with a low-spinning head that needs a little more spin. Interestingly enough, the 70g option might be the best 3-wood shaft we’ve ever tested!
General Swing Speed Recommendation: Regular (R): 81-90mph, Stiff (S): 91-105mph, X-Stiff (X): 106+mph.
If you want a mid-launch low/mid-spin profile in a tour-level shaft from one of the most exotic high-end brands, you and Henrick Stenson would agree: this is it!
