Aldila Rogue 125 MSI Tour Issue Limited Golf Shaft Review

    I. Who is the Aldila Rogue 125 MSI Golf Shaft For:

This golf shaft is for the player who seeks the best of the best! Made from the highest modulus aerospace grade graphite (90-ton i.e. “125 MSI”), with a super low torque rating, and a mid-launch and low-spin profile, this golf shaft fits into the hands of players who have smooth tempos but also swing fast, want to feel in control of the club head throughout the swing, low spin rates, have the tightest dispersion, are looking for a boring/penetrating ball flight, and love to crush the ball! This is basically the highest performing tour level golf shaft on the market!

II. What do I need to know about the Aldila Rogue 125 MSI Golf Shaft:

This golf shaft took the PGA Tour and world by storm when it introduced the first ever full 90-ton (125 MSI) carbon modulus graphite shaft. Basically, Aldila took the highest quality graphite materials available on earth and engineered a golf shaft fit for the demands of the world’s best, and made it the most successful golf shaft of the PGA Tour in 2015 and 2016 with over 34 tournaments as the #1 driver shaft, over 10 wins, and 3 of the 4 FedEx Cup Playoff events in 2016 alone! The super low torque rating and high-energy return potential of this shaft basically begs you to swing out of your shoes! Many customers have stated that this is the “smoothest and tightest shaft combination EVER” that performs better the faster you swing it. Much of this has to do with the shaft’s ability to return square at impact no matter the stress put on it by the player. The attention to detail put into the Rogue 125 is unsurpassed, as it is made only in Aldila’s Tour Lab in Poway, CA so it meets the highest craftsmanship, highest tolerances, and highest quality control on the market today! Every shaft is laser engraved with its own unique serial number and comes with a hand-signed letter of authenticity from Aldila’s Chief Engineer John Oldenburg. So if maximum performance and quality is your goal: accept no substitute! Have the demo shaft sent to your door today so you can experience this amazing product yourself!

Player Profile: Tempo: smooth, Transition: aggressive, Release: mid to late, Swing Speed: High, Trajectory: Mid, Spin Rate: Low.

IV. Additional Information About the Aldila Rogue 125 MSI Golf Shaft:

Know that the Rogue 125 is a totally different animal from its cousins the Rogue 110 and 90. While both great shafts in their own respect, the 125 MSI was engineered for tour players and players who want the very best. It is the advanced materials, engineering, and craftsmanship that set this golf shaft worlds apart in terms of both feel and performance. Also, because of its ultra high modulus graphite, know that the Rogue 125 flexes about ½ flex higher than most other shafts. It’s basically considered a “tour flex” shaft, so going down a flex in the Rogue 125 is not uncommon.

General Swing Speed Recommendation: Tour Regular (TR): 95-105mph, Tour Stiff (TS): 105-115mPH, Tour X-Stiff (TX): 115-125mph.

    V. Summary:

If your golf swing demands the highest performance golf shaft, look no further! This is the Lamborghini of golf shafts!

    1. Rogue 125

I thought this was a great shaft as the feel was the best of the 3 I used (AD-GP-KK XT) and had no problems loading the shaft or working the ball. My swing speed with the driver is 110 mph and the X-Flex was perfect. Distance wise (no monitor) I was hitting the AD-GP and the KK-XT a tad further but all were within a few yards. If this shaft was not 6 bills I would probably jump all over it but I got very similar results with the other two.
